Head of BPS-Statistics Kalbar and Kayong Utara Regency Attend the High Level Meeting TPID and TP2DD

Monday (15/01) Head of BPS-Statistics Kalimantan Barat Province, Muh Saichudin was a speaker at the High Level Meeting TPID and TP2DD Kayong Utara Regency together with the Acting Governor of Kalimantan Barat, Acting Regent of Kayong Utara, Kalimantan Barat Province Bank Indonesia Representative, and kalimantan Barat Financial Services Authority. TPID-TP2DD Coordination Meeting which was opened directly by Harison, Acting Governor of Kalimantan Barat was also attended by the Head of BPS-Statistics Kayong Utara Regency, Head of Kayong Utara Resort Police, Heads of Agencies and Services which part of the Kayong Utara Regency TPID.

In connection with the use of the Survei Biaya Hidup (SBH) 2022 as a basis for calculating inflation in 2024 by BPS-Statistics and increasing the coverage of SBH 2022 districts/cities to 150 districts/cities from 38 provinces (previously only 90 districts/cities), for Kayong Utara Regency at Kalimantan Barat Province, and the P2DD, the Head of BPS-Statistics Kalimantan Barat Province provided socialization on the SBH 2022 results with changes to the base year of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Kalimantan Barat Province. It was stated that SBH 2022 was motivated by changes in consumption patterns, adjustments to the base year (CPI 2018 = 100 to CPI 2022 = 100), developments in types of goods and services, and changes and market dynamics.

On this occasion, Muh Saichudin also said that Kayong Utara Regency is in fifth place as the district/city with the fewest number of commodity packages with the highest weight for the Kalimantan Barat SBH 2022 results being on rice commodities, then electricity rates, and then petrol.
