Commitment to improving the implementation of sectoral statistical activities, the Diskominfo as the Data Guardian Invites BPS-Statistics Kayong Utara Regency which is the Data Supervisor to Discuss with the Acting Regent of Kayong Utara after the results of the Evaluation of Sectoral Statistics Implementation called EPSS in 2024 were submitted on Monday, November 4, 2024.
The output of the EPSS is the Statistical Development Index which includes 5 domains including the SDI Principle Domain, Data Quality Domain, Statistics Business Process Domain, Institutional Domain, National Statistics Domain, and Statistical Development Index. Based on the EPSS results, the value of the Statistical Development Index of the Kayong Utara Regency Government in 2024 was 1.65 with the predicate "Less". However, the IPS value of the Kayong Utara Regency Government has increased from the previous year from 1.61 to 1.65.
In a long discussion at the meeting, the Acting Regent of Kayong Utara. The Regent conveyed several strategies to improve the IPS value for the following year, including increasing collaboration and commitment between the Regional Development Planning, Research, and Innovation Agency as the data secretariat; Diskominfo as the Data Guardian; and all Regional Apparatus Organizations as Data Producers; and BPS-Statistics which of course acts as the Data Supervisor.
BPS-Statistics in a meeting at the Regent's Official Residence attended by the Acting Regent of Kayong Utara, the Head of Diskominfo of Kayong Utara Regency who was accompanied by the Head of the Electronic-Based Government Administration, and the Head of BPS-Statistics of Kayong Utara Regency who was accompanied by the EPSS Team, hoped that the EPSS results could be used as a basis for improving the quality of sectoral statistics implementation in a sustainable manner within the Kayong Utara Regency Government.
